ABOUT
Robert (“Rob”)is an Associate Attorney with Gunn & York, LLP, where his practice focuses upon complex Civil Tax Dispute resolution and representation before the IRS and Louisiana Department of Revenue (DOR), with respect to varying tax issues, with significantly extensive experience with high-level negotiations with the IRS and DOR, Offers in Compromise, Installment Agreements, assistance with the representation and defense of Taxpayers accused of criminal conduct, etc. Rob also practices in the areas of tax and estate planning, including the drafting of complex wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents. Rob is experienced in the formation of corporations, LLCs, and non-profit/tax-exempt entities, and is also experienced in sales/use tax controversies and litigation. Rob earned his J.D. degree from Loyola University New Orleans, College of Law in 2012, where he served as a Student Practitioner with the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic and Center for Social Justice, and was President of Phi Alpha Delta. Rob has guest-lectured at Loyola Law School regarding employment-related tax issues. Rob also attended Southwestern University, in Georgetown Texas, where he was a Paideia Scholar. Rob lives in Baton Rouge with his wife, Robin and their children, Adele and Beau.
